If you've been a C# developer, very likely you are familiar with __*IDisposable*__ concept and __*using*__ statement.

Now when we are developing applications in TypeScript, it's nice to have such a feature to be able to __*dispose*__ our unneeded resources when we are finished with a class instance.

In this article, I am going to show you how you can easily add this feature to your TypeScript codebases.

First, I start by creating a Disposable.ts helper file and adding an *IDisposable* interface to it.

This is the interface that our target classes will implement.

I continue by adding 2 *using functions* for both *synchronous* and *asynchronous* purposes.

Perfect.

Now, I am going to create a sample class to show you how to use the interface.

As you can see, our *__SampleClass__* implements the *__IDisposable__* interface so it must have a *__dispose__* method.
